Friendly Tussle

Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya

When we came upon these two Grants Gazelle they were grazing in the grass as the rhinoceros snoozed in the background. In an instant they seemed to decide to play, tussling and locking horns, moving across the land. I hoped they would move in front of the rhino so I could get this shot, and they happily complied. Moments later, they were back to grazing calmly as if nothing at all fun like this had happened previously. Photo © copyright by Loren Logan.
